Cilian Aspen Gray
Perfumer
Cilian Aspen Gray (he/they) is an artist with a deep love for many different outlets. They feel very strongly about perfume and its offerings, and believe perfume is more than just a fancy indulgence. He views it as an olfactory journey. Perhaps as the memory of one’s first love, or a fog that covers an ancient dark forest in the early mornings. They view it as an artform to not only be enjoyed, but rather used to paint a picture that varies for every person. Their other love consists of photography and capturing queer joy and the small beautiful moments the world offers. His photography is based upon ethereal and renaissance-ecs art forms mixed with a little bit of fantasy.
Faccia Brutto
Spirit Partnership
Faccia Brutto Spirits is the recently launched, Brooklyn-based spirits company from Patrick Miller, formerly the chef/partner of beloved BK restaurant, Rucola. Patrick creates classic Italian spirits-- having first launched his take on an Aperitivo (Campari-alternative) and a Fernet Pianti (named after his grandparents), and more recently released as an Amaro Alpino (a northern Italian style amari) and the amaro Gorini (a Southern-Italian take). Designed with a bartender in mind, and with an eye-catching “ugly man” on the label (Faccia Brutto is a grammatically-incorrect translation of ugly face) the bottle is built for quick on-the-go serving at a bar, or as a centerpiece on the modern bar cart. Faccia Brutto has quickly become a crowd favorite, now available nationally on their website, they have been featured across publications like Bon Appetit, Thrillist, People, Imbibe and more.
